该剧讲述善良心软却总是被欺负、被无视的“老好人”陆东植受了委屈都无法说出口，结果选择了自杀，但自杀的地方偏偏是连环杀人魔的杀人现场。他被吓跑了，却在路上被车撞了，醒来之后失忆了，代替他失去的记忆，他手上突然出现了一本日记。日记里记录了变态杀人魔的所有犯罪证据，因为各种巧合陆东植误以为日记的主人就是自己，认为自己是变态杀人魔。
