收视并不太好，但仍被续订16集第二季的NBC剧《#飓风营救# Taken》，剧组表示下一季只有饰演主角Bryan Mills的Clive Standen，以及饰演Christina Hart的Jennifer Beals会回归，其他主演皆被遣散；据指这是因为新制作人Greg Plageman想采取新的创作方向，在次季使用更倾向单元剧的路线。
BBC One已经预订了一部三集的新剧《火药》（Gunpowder），灵感来源于Kit Harington去年10月看中的关于Guy Fawkes的惊悚故事，对，就是电影《V字仇杀队》中V效仿的原型。1605年，Guy Fawkes和一群天主教徒在英国国会大厦埋下36桶炸药，企图刺杀詹姆士一世，从而使天主教重掌政权。但就在刺杀前晚，计划败露，Guy Fawkes被捕，最终被处死。英国人民至今还在原定阴谋实施那天即11月5日举行Guy Fawkes Night（篝火之夜）来庆祝。囧诺Kit Harington将监制该剧，并饰演策划这起刺杀的Robert Catesby。Mark Gatiss饰演詹姆士国王的国务卿兼间谍首脑Robert Cecil。Peter Mullan饰演Garnet神父。Liv Tyler饰演Catesby的表妹Anne Vaux。

If an attacker sends a large number of SYN requests with fake source addresses, the server side will consume a lot of resources to handle this semi-connection, and saving traversal will consume a lot of CPU time and memory, not to mention retrying SYN + ACK on IP in this list. TCP is a reliable protocol, and messages will be retransmitted at this time. The default number of retries is 5. The interval time of retries is doubled from 1s to 1s + 2s + 4s + 8s + 16s = 31s respectively. After the fifth time is sent out, it will take 32s to know that the fifth time has timed out, so the total is 31 + 32=63s.
That is to say, a total of false syn messages will occupy the TCP preparation queue for 63s, while the semi-connected queue defaults to 1024, which is different by system default and can be viewed by cat/proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_max_syn_backlog c. That is to say, sending 200 fake syn packets per second without any protection is enough to burst the semi-connection queue, thus preventing the real connection from being established and responding to normal requests. The end result is that the server has no time to ignore the normal connection request-denial of service.
