《师任堂》剧方表示“虽然我们不敢说是在策划之初就考虑由李英爱来主演，但她所拥有的古典美和优雅的的形象与师任堂这个人物十分吻合。对于李英爱所塑造的师任堂，即便是想象一下也会为之心动”。 制作方表示该剧将在全部拍摄制作完成后于2017年初播出，敬请期待！
