《温柔的背后2》秉承了第一部的风格，用真实的故事讲述都市情感。剧中肖涵饰演的李歆是一个海外归国的留学生，思想前卫开放，个性独立，同时还有着与生俱来的叛逆。刚刚拍完由湖南卫视投资的偶像剧《一起来看流星雨》，剧中肖涵是个大姐大，与魏晨上演“姐弟恋”。同样也是时尚靓丽的造型，而在新剧《温柔的背后2》中肖涵不在做懂事的乖乖女，而是挑战叛逆，演绎一个热辣的“小姨子”，陷入了一段“崎爱”之中。
